Scheduling / Planning Engineer

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Responsible for the planning activities within a project and organization-wide planning across all projects.
  • Provide project progress S-curve, activity list, logic diagram (PERT, CPM), time-scaled logic diagram, bar chart, manpower histogram, resource, and cost curves.
  • Publish the weekly planning report for all projects and disseminate it to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate overall project activities, liaising with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop a fully integrated schedule.
  • Oversee construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover processes.
  • Gather input from project team members, contractors, suppliers, and clients to support baseline schedule development and progress updates.
  • Utilize planning/scheduling principles including:
    • CPM scheduling techniques
    • Resource loading of schedules
    • Field progress measurement
  • Analyze the critical path and highlight key concerns to the project team.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of the monthly spending plan curve.
  • Provide regular management updates on progress related to process and quality improvements.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by your Superior(s).

Estimator

Estimator Required – Large CAPEX Project

Projects: Commercial, Residential, Pharma, and Industrial

Duties:

  • The Estimator must be able to analyze and evaluate tender documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Develop presentations for internal tender reviews.
  • Participate in site visits to assess new projects during the bidding process.
  • Use estimating software to generate pricing packages for consultants, subcontractors, and materials.

Requirements:

  • 3rd level degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering required.
  • 3+ years of experience as an estimator for a main building contractor.
  • Or 5+ years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to move into Estimating.

Assistant PM

Assistant PM – Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive briefs, business cases, and submissions for proposed projects in consultation with clinical staff and Capital & Estates personnel.
  • Assist in preparing budgets for Major Capital work programmes and ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets.
  • Oversee staff, design teams, and contractors in implementing agreed programmes.
  • Assist in defining requirements for equipment and buildings, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including permissions, licences, certificates, and approvals.
  • Work with Infection Prevention Control teams on construction components and collaborate with clinical service managers and maintenance teams.
